Role overview
Ryman Healthcare is seeking a Village Lifestyle Coordinator for its Bruce McLaren Retirement Village in Howick, Auckland. The role is a full-time, site-based position focused on creating engaging, inclusive, and person-centred experiences that support residents’ wellbeing, social connection, and overall quality of life.
This position is designed for someone who brings energy, creativity, and warmth to resident activities and events, while helping foster an atmosphere where people feel connected and supported.
Working pattern
This is a full-time role with the following roster: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for planning and delivering activities for independent residents, encouraging participation and enjoyment, while contributing to a positive village environment.
The role also involves working alongside the Activities Team, other village departments, and functions to help deliver a high standard of resident experience.

Candidate profile

Experience in aged care is welcomed but not mandatory.
