Job description
Role Overview
Become an essential member of our team at Ryman Richard Hadlee Retirement Village in Christchurch, delivering exceptional laundry services that contribute to a welcoming and hygienic environment for our residents. We are currently offering both full-time and part-time roles, with shifts on Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Sunday/Monday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These positions are set to begin at the end of September 2026.
Key Duties
- Oversee efficient washing, sorting, and distribution of linens and residents' personal garments.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to ensure the wellbeing of residents, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to support the operational needs of the laundry services.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrates strong compassion and empathy towards residents.
- Flexible to assist across different units within the Developing village as required.
- Exhibits keen attention to detail and precision in tasks.
- Reliable, friendly, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
