Job description

About TensorWave

TensorWave’s goal is to provide AI compute that is smooth, dependable, secure, and able to scale with demand. The company has created a flexible cloud platform that removes infrastructure hurdles, allowing builders to spend more time innovating and less time wrestling with their stack. The focus is on helping breakthrough AI move at the pace of ideas, not at the pace of infrastructure.

About the Role

TensorWave is looking for a Video Editor who thinks in story first. The job begins with raw footage, but the real value is in identifying the narrative arc, the key moments, and the edits that keep viewers engaged until the end. You will work on a wide variety of content, including event recaps, interviews, social content, and brand films. Across every format, the expectation is the same: strengthen the TensorWave brand voice and create work that stands out in a crowded market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit multiple content formats, such as brand films, event recaps, interview edits, podcast videos, social media clips, and explainer videos.
  • Apply color correction and grading to LOG footage so the final result feels polished and consistent.
  • Keep project folders, source media, and final deliverables organized with a clear and reliable file structure.
  • Use After Effects at an intermediate level to implement supplied assets and create motion graphics from the ground up when needed.
  • Import, sort, and label footage from shoots that use multiple cameras.
  • Work through notes and revision requests quickly and accurately without needing repeated instruction.
  • Meet deadlines reliably, including fast-turn event recap assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of professional video editing experience, supported by a portfolio that shows strong storytelling judgment.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
  • A strong understanding of pacing and narrative structure beyond simple beat-matching.
  • Comfort working with Sony FX-series footage, LOG workflows, and basic color grading techniques.
  • Ability to work independently from a brief, a media folder, and a deadline while delivering standout output.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to respond quickly to revision feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating content for B2B or technology brands.
  • Interest in or background in cinematography or production, with an understanding of how and why shots are designed.
  • Exposure to lighting and on-set production, with the ability to help during shoots when necessary.

Benefits and Perks

  • Stock options.
  • Fully paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees.
  • Company contributions to a Health Savings Account.
  • Fully paid short-term and long-term disability insurance for employees.
  • Life insurance plus voluntary supplemental insurance options.
  • Additional insurance options, including pet insurance and legal insurance.
  • Supplementary health benefits such as discounted virtual healthcare visits and support for serious illness.
  • Flexible Spending Account.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Flexible PTO.
  • Paid holidays.
  • Parental leave.
  • Other in-office perks.
