Role overview

A global banking client is looking for a Vice President in Trade Finance to join its Frankfurt-based team in Hesse, Germany. The role sits within the European Trade Finance function and focuses on managing a portfolio of investment-grade corporate banking clients with a broad range of sophisticated trade finance solutions.

What the role involves

You will be responsible for strengthening relationships with existing clients, increasing wallet share, and supporting the acquisition of new-to-trade and new-to-bank customers. The position requires strong financial and credit analysis capability, along with the ability to assess risk and structure solutions that improve portfolio profitability while enhancing client satisfaction.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring at least seven years of relevant trade finance experience in a comparable banking environment, with a solid understanding of banking debt products. You should be comfortable preparing term sheets, have strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline is also required.
