Job description
About the Company
The company is a Series A+ funded platform supported by prominent venture and digital asset investors, with established strategic alliances including a leading global payments firm. The founding team brings senior expertise from premier credit, trading, and digital asset firms and has developed financial products driving hundreds of millions in transaction volume across various asset classes. The organization maintains a flat structure, valuing results and swift execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed analytical frameworks to accurately assess the actual cost of securing and maintaining lending capital, highlighting inefficiencies or incorrect pricing in incentive structures.
- Analyze incentives and treasury/reserve mechanisms that support the company's stablecoin model.
- Convert both blockchain-based and traditional data into transparent models and actionable advice for the founding team regarding incentive structures throughout the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with protocol, growth, and business units to design interest rates, rewards, and fee systems that encourage participant behaviors that promote platform sustainability.
- Work alongside product teams to create experiences and extensions enhancing new business ventures and active user engagement.
- As the role evolves, map capital movements within the ecosystem, implement controls to ensure reconciliation between loan documentation and ledger entries across on-chain and off-chain systems, and take ownership of loan lifecycle reconciliations.
Candidate Requirements
- Exceptional quantitative and economic modeling capabilities with an ability to independently address questions such as the actual cost per dollar of capital.
- Experience or knowledge in datacenter and GPU financing sectors.
- Preferably background in investment banking.
- Proven ability to transform incomplete or complicated data sets into clear financial and economic analyses accompanied by practical recommendations.
- Expertise in incentive design, understanding how pricing, rates, and rewards influence participant behavior within markets or ecosystems.
- Effective communication skills to serve as a strategic thought partner to founders, explaining complex analyses in straightforward and convincing terms.
- At least seven years of relevant experience in economics, finance, strategy, quantitative analysis, or fintech domains.
- Familiarity with crypto or DeFi mechanics is advantageous; readiness to learn and adapt rapidly is sufficient.
- Experience in controller roles, accounting, or finance operations focusing on capital flow reconciliation and financial controls is highly valued, as is previous work at fast-growing fintech companies.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive base salary aligned with experience, complemented by a long-term incentive scheme.
