Job Overview
The Vice President, Finance at Benedictine plays a critical leadership role in operational finance, supporting the Senior Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer in enhancing financial performance, driving process improvements, and ensuring responsible stewardship throughout all communities. This position directly supervises Accounting and Regional Finance Directors to integrate financial reporting, analysis, and community financial management effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead Regional Finance Directors and accounting teams.
- Oversee and evaluate the financial health of Benedictine's communities.
- Direct the operational delivery of annual budgeting and forecasting for all communities.
- Collaborate closely with teams in Accounting, Revenue Cycle Management, Business Intelligence, IT, and Treasury to synchronize financial reporting, cash flow management, and operational insights.
- Build and mentor a high-performing, mission-focused regional finance and accounting workforce.
- Embed Benedictine's Mission and Core Values—including Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice—into daily company practices.
- Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a directly related field combined with at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience within Healthcare Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $230,000 to $250,000 annually. Benedictine offers a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support associates at every stage of life.
