Role Summary
Reporting directly to the COO, the Vice President of Revenue Operations will play a pivotal role in steering Checkr’s growth initiatives. This executive will oversee the entire go-to-market (GTM) engine, covering enterprise, commercial, channel, and self-serve segments. The position demands owning operational systems, scalable frameworks, and disciplined execution to support business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and expand a best-in-class Revenue Operations team encompassing Analytics, Enablement, and GTM Systems.
- Build and nurture an AI-centric team environment that leverages artificial intelligence to enhance speed, innovation, and growth impact.
- Drive business growth across all GTM channels by deeply understanding company dynamics and identifying key growth opportunities.
- Manage business planning, forecasting, and analytics processes to provide visibility, accountability, and confidence in revenue performance.
- Develop and implement Enablement strategies to equip GTM teams with optimal tools, training, and playbooks, ensuring smooth deployment of new initiatives.
- Chart future development priorities by defining investment roadmaps and leading execution on initiatives that promote scaling.
- Collaborate closely with the C-Suite and Executive Staff to influence strategic priorities, resource allocation, and go-to-market approaches.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to build motivated, high-performance teams and develop talent.
- Strong fluency in AI technologies and a proactive approach to integrating AI into the Revenue Operations function.
- Extensive background leading GTM Operations or Revenue Operations teams exceeding 25 members, preferably at large (500+ employees) and late-stage companies (Series D/E or post-IPO) within the last five years.
- Strong analytical capability with a hands-on approach to data, holding teams accountable to impactful metrics.
- Executive presence with demonstrated ability to engage with the C-Suite, align cross-functional stakeholders, and drive clarity and follow-through.
- A decisive mindset focused on delivering results, managing ambiguity, and setting high standards.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive base salary ranging from $340,000 to $370,000 USD for San Francisco location; remote location pay may vary based on geographic labor costs.
