Position Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships is a key leadership role focused on crafting and executing the organization's partnership strategies across major markets and sectors. This full-time remote position involves spearheading the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of new partnership prospects while fostering expansion within existing alliances to accelerate revenue and strategic objectives.
Key Duties
- Develop comprehensive plans for partnerships aligned with corporate goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate joint projects and initiatives.
- Manage critical partner accounts to ensure value delivery and satisfaction.
- Monitor and report partnership performance relative to established metrics.
- Work alongside senior leadership to align partnership activities with overall business strategy.
- Represent the company at external engagements including industry conferences and strategic meetings to enhance market positioning and foster collaborations.
- Prepare detailed forecasts and periodic reports on partnership status and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in managing business relationships and complex partner portfolios.
- Strong ability to develop, implement, and optimize partnership frameworks consistent with organizational goals.
- Background in business planning encompassing market research, opportunity evaluation, and financial analysis for partnership initiatives.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with a track record of structuring agreements balancing risk and long-term value.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at executive and board levels.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving collaboration among sales, marketing, product, and operations departments.
- Highly organized with the capability to thrive in a remote work setup while maintaining accountability for results.
- Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline; advanced degrees such as an MBA are advantageous.
- Previous senior-level experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or corporate strategy within a pertinent sector is highly desirable.
