Position Overview

The Vice President of Relocation and Corporate Services leads the company’s relocation department, striving to set standards for relocation and real estate performance through strategic agent selection, coaching, and accountability enforcement. This position demands a warm, approachable demeanor toward agents, managers, and clients alike, while serving as the company’s representative within the local business and agent communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the relocation department and associated referral business to maximize operational efficiency, sales performance, profitability, and company value.
  • Promote relocation services aggressively to meet predefined objectives, developing and implementing growth strategies targeting relocation, referral, corporate, and affinity markets within the Triangle and Triad regions.
  • Engage in company leadership discussions per senior management’s requests.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and ongoing management of relocation team agents, ensuring accountability.
  • Design and apply strategic plans to achieve agents’ goals and key performance indicators related to relocation referrals.
  • Collaborate with relocation staff to plan educational programs and skill-building opportunities to foster individual professional development and maintain a high-functioning relocation team.
  • Represent relocation services in branch sales meetings, building cross-functional support with branch managers and sales leaders to enhance service promotion and lead generation.
  • Maintain open communication lines with office managers and associates to promote and meet performance standards.
  • Escalate and resolve referral-related issues efficiently.
  • Act as the face of relocation services to corporations and other business sources, participating in events tailored to company or corporate clients.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with local employers, chambers of commerce, economic development entities, HR professionals, and community organizations to discover and cultivate new relocation opportunities.
  • Manage the Internet Lead (ELeads) team by handling lead distribution, setting and enforcing response time expectations, tracking conversion metrics, and upholding customer service excellence.
  • Establish and apply best practices and workflows that boost internet lead conversion rates, relocation referrals, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze performance metrics for relocation, referral, affinity, and internet leads, recommending actionable strategies to enhance productivity, profitability, and growth.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in management roles.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Residential real estate background is favored.
