Vice-President of Product Operations

Position Overview

The Vice-President of Product Operations is a key full-time remote leadership role focused on managing the execution of product strategies and ensuring timely and effective delivery of product initiatives. This position leads collaboration across product, engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market teams to enhance workflows, optimize resource use, and maintain delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve product operations processes.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators for product initiatives.
• Manage strategic programs and oversee cross-functional projects.
• Drive ongoing improvements across the product organization.
• Partner with product management leadership to prioritize tasks and enhance decision-making based on data and analytics.
• Establish frameworks for communication, documentation, and governance within product teams.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to build and develop a high-performing operations team.
• Contribute to the planning of long-term product and organizational roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in product operations, with a track record of designing and scaling processes that support strategy execution.
• Strong program and project management capabilities to lead complex cross-departmental initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis, dashboard creation, and metrics-driven performance optimization.
• Substantial experience in product management, working closely with product leaders on roadmaps, prioritization, and lifecycle management.
• Proven leadership skills in managing and mentoring teams within fast-moving technology environments.
• Effective remote work skills including strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
• Preferably background in FinTech, payments, or financial services with knowledge of regulatory and risk factors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related discipline; advanced degrees like an MBA are advantageous.
