About CAB Worldwide

CAB Worldwide LLC is an international leader in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management. We specialize in precision machined steel, iron, and aluminum cast, forged, and fabricated components and assemblies supplied to OEMs and distributors. Our headquarters is in Gwinnett County, Georgia, with manufacturing and distribution facilities in Texas, Washington, Canada, and Europe, alongside engineering and quality assurance offices in India and China. Our diverse clientele includes sectors such as hydraulics, automotive, infrastructure, construction, and rail. In 2023, CAB formed a strategic partnership with Heritage Growth Partners LLC to drive operational growth, expand capabilities, and pursue acquisitions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and people-centric Vice President of People & Talent to lead our human resources, talent acquisition, and compliance functions. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with senior executives, you will architect and implement scalable systems to attract, develop, and retain talent essential to fueling our company's growth globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive global talent strategy that is aligned with business objectives and value creation goals.
  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training and development, and offboarding processes.
  • Standardize HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks across all domestic and international locations.
  • Collaborate with site managers on recruitment efforts, job descriptions, and ensuring a consistent and professional candidate experience.
  • Administer the company’s 401(k) plan as Plan Administrator and oversee global benefits programs encompassing medical, dental, vision, disability, and other offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with HR and workers' compensation regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including employment law adherence, postings, safety classifications, work authorization, and recordkeeping.
  • Lead HR aspects of acquisition integrations, including onboarding acquired staff, reviewing benefits, aligning policies, and integrating HR systems.
  • Implement and oversee HRIS platforms, payroll coordination, and other related administrative tools.
  • Monitor key workforce metrics such as turnover, retention, employee engagement, and talent acquisition effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with the CFO and finance teams on payroll, compensation budgeting, and headcount planning.
  • Support CEO and senior leadership in organizational design, cultural initiatives, and other people-related projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Between 5 to 8 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, preferably within global manufacturing, distribution, or analogous industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise supporting multiple domestic and international business units.
  • Practical experience implementing and managing HRIS, payroll systems, and benefits administration platforms.
  • Comfortable working alongside internal teams and external HR, benefits, and insurance providers.
  • A highly engaged leader committed to hands-on execution while developing scalable HR processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the discretion to manage sensitive and confidential issues effectively.
  • Well-organized with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
  • Integrity and adherence to high ethical and performance standards.
  • Dedication to long-term growth and development within CAB.

Preferred Credentials

  • HR certifications such as PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalents.
  • Experience working in private equity-owned or similarly disciplined business environments.
  • Background in supporting pre-acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition HR integration.

Reporting and Location

This position reports directly to the CEO and works in close partnership with the CFO, Board members, and Heritage Growth Partners. The role is based at our Buford, Georgia office.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary supplemented by a performance-based bonus scheme. Our benefits package includes company-paid health insurance covering medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, and a favorable 401(k) match program.
