Role Overview

As VP of HR, you will act as a strategic leader partnering closely with executive leadership to shape organizational talent strategies. This role involves overseeing people operations for both corporate and clinical teams, managing growth from 80 to over 250 clinicians with a focus on structuring career paths and fostering employee engagement and retention while supporting scalable operations and organizational culture evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR leadership aligning talent strategies with business goals for executive stakeholders.
  • Lead people operations for both corporate and clinical organizations.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive career development frameworks and retention programs for clinicians.
  • Manage talent lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, total rewards, leadership growth, and employee relations.
  • Implement data-driven HR metrics and systems to optimize engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Promote company culture, inclusion, and organizational agility during rapid scaling phases.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years progressive experience in HR/People Operations with 3–5+ years in senior leadership positions such as VP or Head of People.
  • Expertise managing people operations across corporate and clinical/medical/field teams.
  • Proven success in scaling high-growth organizations, especially with 2x–3x team expansions.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing career progression, performance management, and retention systems from the ground up.

Desirable Additional Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees (MBA, Master’s, or M.S. in HR/Organizational Development) or certifications like SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
  • Experience working within HealthTech, Telehealth, or healthcare delivery sectors.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced, matrixed, or venture-backed company environments.

Compensation

This role offers a salary range between $225,000 and $275,000 annually USD, commensurate with experience and expertise.
