Position Summary

The Vice President of Operations will lead the comprehensive operational and supply chain activities, playing a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s growth strategy. This position requires directing efforts in procurement, planning, inventory management, logistics, distribution, quality assurance, and customer fulfillment, ensuring operational excellence in alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic operations plans supporting growth, profitability, and long-term business goals.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to synchronize operational priorities with commercial aims and organization-wide initiatives.
• Establish scalable operational processes, performance metrics, and effective operational rhythms to drive excellence.
• Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, execution quality, reduce complexity, and sustain growth.
• Forge strong internal and external partnerships to boost business performance, operational resilience, and customer satisfaction.
• Leverage data analytics and business insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and guide decision-making.
• Champion continuous improvement via process optimization, technology adoption, and managing change.
• Ensure the operational infrastructure, resources, and capabilities meet current and future business demands.
• Promote cross-department collaboration to enhance alignment and overall organizational performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic advice and operational insights to executive leadership, contributing to long-term organizational success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related area.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, planning, or manufacturing within CPG sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional operational teams and execute transformational initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in supply chain management, inventory control, operational planning, and logistics strategy.
• Robust financial expertise with insight into operational profit drivers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at the executive level.
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles with a hybrid work arrangement.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or relevant advanced degree.
• Experience in beauty, personal care, wellness, or similar consumer product industries.
• Management of relationships with contract manufacturers, external suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Experience with global and international supply chain operations.
• Certifications such as APICS, CSCP, or CPIM are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive base salary ranging from $275,000 to $305,000 annually
