Role Overview
As the Vice President of Marketing, you will serve as the strategic mastermind overseeing consumer engagement, brand development, product innovation, and marketing growth globally. You will spearhead our international marketing initiatives and drive expansion for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct integrated marketing functions including Global Brand Strategy & Research, Global Communication & Design, Product & Portfolio Management, and Brands Management.
- Lead and support local Marketing & Brand Activation teams worldwide by offering functional leadership and strategic direction.
- Translate consumer insights and innovation pipelines into impactful communication strategies and market launches.
- Champion the company's growth by turning brand vision into successful products and compelling brand experiences across primary markets.
- Partner closely with Regional Vice Presidents and local Managing Directors to align global marketing goals with local market requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Between 12 and 15 years of senior-level marketing leadership experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer-oriented sectors, including several years of international management beyond the DACH region.
- A Master’s degree or MBA focusing on Marketing, Business Administration, Innovation Management, or related fields.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the marketing mix encompassing product, price, place, and promotion.
- Proven success in product lifecycle management, brand strategy formulation, and executing integrated go-to-market campaigns.
- Demonstrated leadership as a visionary and cross-functional leader with an international perspective capable of guiding transformational efforts and managing multicultural stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, and agility, with experience in digital transformation, AI-powered marketing processes, or modern marketing approaches being highly advantageous.
- Excellent command of English and good proficiency in German to effectively engage in global markets and maintain close ties with the company's base in Waldenbuch.
