Overview
This opportunity is with a partner company based in the United States seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead and innovate all facets of people operations. The role plays a vital part in shaping an inclusive and high-performing work environment while aligning HR strategies with the company's broader growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full HR operations including payroll, benefits, wellness initiatives, HRIS management, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce analytics.
- Develop long-term talent strategies that foster organizational development, improve retention, and facilitate leadership growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set workforce priorities and create HR plans that support business targets.
- Lead, coach, and provide feedback to the HR team to enhance professional growth and effectiveness.
- Create and refine programs for employee engagement, recognition, performance evaluation, and organizational development.
- Monitor HR performance metrics to assess program success and enable data-informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws, workplace policies, benefits regulations, and safety standards.
- Manage employee relations including conflict resolution, investigations, and ethics reporting.
- Draft, update, and maintain HR policies, processes, and employee communications.
- Administer compensation, benefits, incentive programs, and manage related vendor relationships.
- Maintain HR technology platforms such as HRIS, payroll, and reporting systems.
- Support workforce planning, budgeting, succession planning, and other strategic talent initiatives.
- Represent the company in professional development forums and stay updated on HR best practices and trends.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field is required.
- A minimum of five years in progressive human resources management roles with strategic leadership experience.
- Proven experience managing HR functions across multiple states.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance needs.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and retention strategies.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms and third-party payroll systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities using data-driven approaches.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven leadership and team coaching abilities, paired with strong organizational skills for managing various priorities and complex projects.
- Experience formulating HR policies and scalable operational frameworks.
- Preferred qualifications include SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, master's or law degree, and experience with Google Suite and advanced HR technologies.
- Ideal candidates may have 10 years of HR leadership experience including talent management or business development exposure.
