Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire corporate financial planning process including long-term strategies, annual operating plans, forecasting, and performance target setting across all business segments.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide performance metrics and scorecards spanning sales, profitability, cash flow, capital expenditures, innovation, and key strategic programs.
  • Drive cash flow forecasting, working capital analysis, and capital structure considerations at the enterprise level.
  • Oversee forecasting at the individual legal entity level to support tax-related projections.
  • Manage SG&A planning, reporting, and productivity initiatives, collaborating with HR and Finance leadership on workforce cost modeling and compensation design.
  • Identify areas for indirect cost savings and productivity improvements, working with business leaders to implement solutions.
  • Direct enterprise capital allocation strategies including return hurdle thresholds, capital expenditure management, inorganic growth analysis, dividend policies, and share repurchases.
  • Lead prioritization of capital projects and post-investment audits to ensure value realization and accountability.
  • Conduct financial evaluations of innovation investments, sustainability programs, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships through rigorous modeling and scenario planning.
  • Administer financial systems and data analytics platforms supporting planning, forecasting, and reporting, partnering with IT to enhance system capabilities and process automations.
  • Prepare executive and Board-level financial presentations and reports, ensuring clarity, rigor, and strategic storytelling in support of decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Corporate FP&A and Strategic Finance team, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and enterprise collaboration across multiple business functions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with significant leadership roles in Corporate FP&A.
  • Proven success managing financial functions at large, matrixed, multi-business corporations, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods or related industries.
  • Track record of effectively partnering with CEOs, CFOs, executive teams, and Boards of Directors.
  • Extensive expertise in financial planning, capital allocation, financial modeling, and performance metrics management.
  • Knowledge of public company financial reporting, GAAP standards, and earnings release processes.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide transformations involving systems, processes, or organizational models.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualifications such as MBA or CFA are highly desirable.

Leadership Attributes

  • Great strategic thinker with strong business insight and an enterprise-wide perspective.
  • Influential leader able to challenge senior stakeholders and build credibility across multiple levels.
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented with deep analytical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, guide, and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex analyses into actionable insights.
