Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead the FP&A function for a dynamic, high-growth global technology company based in Switzerland. This fully remote executive role entails close collaboration with the CFO and senior management to influence financial strategy, foster sustained expansion, and deliver insightful data analysis that supports critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the global FP&A team, offering strategic financial counsel across multiple business segments and international markets.
• Create, update, and refine financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning frameworks to underpin long-term growth objectives.
• Provide comprehensive financial analyses, scenario evaluations, KPI tracking, and performance reporting to senior executives.
• Collaborate with CFO and leadership teams on strategic plans, capital management, investment opportunities, and merger and acquisition activities.
• Establish and maintain robust relationships with investors and stakeholders through preparation of executive summaries, board materials, and financial briefs.
• Continually enhance financial reporting, analytical processes, and operational efficiencies grounded in data-driven insights.
• Lead and mentor a high-achieving FP&A team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional development in a distributed environment.
• Support enterprise-wide decision-making by identifying financial risks, opportunities, and initiatives that drive long-term value generation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in FP&A with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced qualifications such as MBA, CPA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in high-growth global software, technology, fintech, SaaS, or payment sector organizations.
• Experience working within private equity-backed firms, including direct collaboration with investors and senior leadership teams.
• Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and strategic financial analysis.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored for executive teams, boards, and investors.
• Demonstrated capability to lead remote, distributed finance teams and nurture their professional growth.
• Strong analytical mindset, business insight, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborative leadership approach with excellent stakeholder management, organizational proficiency, and ownership mentality.
