Currently, Pair Eyewear seeks a Vice President of Finance to drive the company’s growth trajectory by overseeing FP&A, Accounting, and Business Systems functions. This senior leadership position calls for instilling financial discipline and operational rigor within a rapidly growing consumer business.
Reporting to the CFO/COO, this leader will play a key role in the executive team by setting organizational objectives, collaborating with department heads to build actionable operating plans, and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate as a leadership team member shaping overall company strategy beyond finance.
- Work across departments to transform strategic goals into detailed budgets, resource plans, and operational actions.
- Ensure accountability by tracking plan delivery and highlighting risks or trade-offs promptly.
- Advise CFO/COO and co-CEOs on financial and operational consequences of business decisions.
- Partner closely on fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis team to conduct budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
- Maintain financial models supporting scenario evaluation, investment analysis, and capital raising.
- Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews with clear insights on progress versus plans.
- Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning, capital investment, and evaluating project returns.
- Manage accounting operations to ensure precise monthly closing, reporting, compliance, and robust internal controls.
- Oversee relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and banking institutions.
- Keep the company audit-ready and scale accounting systems in line with business expansion.
- Steer the development and upgrade of finance-related business systems like ERP and reporting tools to accommodate growth.
- Drive initiatives to streamline financial processes and automate reporting to improve speed and accuracy.
- Coordinate with data and engineering teams to ensure reliable data integration supporting financial and operational decisions.

Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of advancing experience in finance leadership, covering both FP&A and accounting management.
- Background in high-growth companies, particularly venture or private equity backed environments.
- Proven effectiveness at leading finance teams through rapid scaling and organizational changes.
- Experience partnering with executive leaders to establish objectives and convert strategy into operational plans.
- Ability to influence company direction using comprehensive financial analysis and business partnership.
- Skilled at presenting financial results and strategic advice to executives, boards, and investors.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and business systems implementation or scaling (e.g. NetSuite, Adaptive Insights).
- Excellent at communicating financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Attributes

- Professional qualifications like CPA and/or MBA.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this position is approximately $250,000 to $280,000 annually, varying based on the candidate’s expertise, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, there may be eligibility for discretionary short-term and long-term incentive plans.
