About Pair Eyewear
At Pair Eyewear, our core belief is to prioritize our people, crafting a cheerful and energetic workspace where every team member can flourish and contribute significantly.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Organic Social & Community Manager to lead and expand Pair's presence on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms. This role acts as our internal voice and champion for the community, with a focus on organic content strategy, collaboration on creative projects, and representing our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategy, planning, and execution for all organic social channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and new platforms.
- Create and oversee a monthly content calendar synchronized with product launches, licensed collections, seasonal events, and brand milestones.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop channel-specific content, ranging from polished assets to user-generated content (UGC) styles, ensuring each post is impactful.
- Keep abreast of evolving social media trends and algorithm changes, offering strategic insights to the marketing team.
- Handle the community inbox by swiftly and warmly responding to comments, messages, and mentions, maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Develop systems and guidelines for community interaction, covering customer service escalation and proactive outreach.
- Engage deeply with loyal customers, advocates, and the Pair+ community to foster strong relationships.
- Gather and relay community feedback—frequent questions, trending subjects, and sentiment—to product, creative, and marketing teams for informed decisions.
- Work alongside marketing and creative teams to identify and manage a pipeline of UGC contributors and micro-influencers aligned with our audience's aesthetics.
- Provide clear briefs to creators on campaigns, product releases, and licensed collections such as Disney and Marvel collaborations.
- Establish workflows with the Creative team to effectively repurpose top organic and UGC content into paid social advertising.
- Discover emerging creator talent and community trends before they become mainstream.
- Coordinate with creative and paid social teams to leverage high-performing organic content and community insights for advertisements.
- Collaborate with retention and email marketing teams to highlight community-centric events like drops, contests, and milestones across channels.
- Work with marketing, product, and creative teams to seamlessly launch licensed collections ensuring brand consistency and adherence to partner guidelines.
Candidate Profile
- A natural storyteller focused on cultivating brand communities, not merely increasing follower counts.
- Extensive knowledge of platform-specific nuances, especially for TikTok, distinguishing impactful content from filler.
- Strong writing ability to adapt brand voice across formats, from witty captions and sincere community responses to precise creative briefs.
- Analytical mindset balanced with creativity, able to leverage data without being impeded by it.
- Collaborative spirit, thriving in a fast-paced direct-to-consumer environment with evolving weekly priorities.
- Comfortable managing a rapid product launch schedule, ensuring consistent fresh content without exhausting team resources.
Essential Qualifications
- At least four years of hands-on experience managing organic social media and communities, preferably in direct-to-consumer brands.
- Proficiency with core platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with strong understanding of their content formats, algorithms, and community engagement patterns.
- Proven success in growing engaged communities, emphasizing quality interactions over mere impressions.
- Robust project management skills to maintain content calendars and manage creator partnerships effectively.
- Experience collaborating closely with creative, marketing, and CRM teams to create and deliver timely content.
Preferred Experience
- Background working with brands involved in licensed partnerships or co-branded collaborations.
- Experience managing communities for subscription-based or membership products.
- Expertise in establishing UGC and micro-influencer pipelines from scratch.
- Familiarity with social performance analytics tools such as Sprout Social or native platform insights.
