Vice President of Finance

About the Role

Immediate, represented by Corkyy, is looking for a Vice President of Finance to spearhead their future-focused finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, liquidity management, and orchestrating capital raising. This role partners closely with the Controller, who manages accounting, historical reporting, and GAAP compliance, to ensure the financial strategy supports company growth effectively.

The VP of Finance will be responsible for managing lender relationships, preparing diligence documents, crafting capital models, and guiding credit facility strategy tailored to Immediate’s Earned Wage Access business. Collaborating with the CEO and executive leadership, this position will also help secure future equity capital and act as a strategic finance partner across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct forward-looking finance functions such as budgeting, financial modeling, and long-range financial planning.
• Lead capital raise efforts across credit and equity, including outreach, negotiations, and deal execution.
• Establish and nurture relationships with banks, private credit funds, specialty finance lenders, and other capital sources.
• Oversee cash flow management, monitoring liquidity, capital availability, borrowing capacity, and anticipate funding needs.
• Prepare high-level financial reports for lenders, investors, board members, and executives.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on capital allocation, pricing strategies, unit economics, and growth plans.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to Sales, Partnerships, Product, Operations, and Customer Success teams.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools that provide leadership with clear visibility into financial performance and key business metrics.

Candidate Requirements

• Background in finance, capital markets, private credit, investment banking, fintech, specialty finance, lending, or payments sectors.
• Advanced expertise in financial modeling techniques including forecasting, cash flow modeling, scenario analysis, unit economics, and capital requirement evaluations.
• Proven experience managing relationships with lenders, investors, board members, and executive leadership.
• Strong analytical aptitude combined with excellent communication and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• High accountability, sound decision-making skills, and discretion with sensitive financial and market data.
