About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance to join a fast-growing technology and AI company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Positioned on a trajectory towards an IPO, this strategic leadership role demands a hands-on operator who works closely with the CEO in the boardroom while actively driving financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparations for IPO readiness, including financial structuring, compliance with regulations, managing shareholder meetings, and fulfilling exchange listing obligations.
- Develop and execute the overall financial strategy encompassing planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and investor relations.
- Supervise and mentor a Finance Director and a streamlined finance team to deliver robust results.
- Collaborate directly with the CEO on presentations to the board, investor communications, and guiding major business decisions.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls, reporting mechanisms, and governance that meet standards for listed companies.
- Apply deep knowledge of the tech and AI sector to inform financial modeling and guide strategic growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 15 years of advanced finance leadership experience predominantly within technology, AI, or tech consulting industries.
- Demonstrated direct, hands-on experience in leading a company through a successful IPO is mandatory.
- Proven familiarity with the Saudi market is critical; experience with Tadawul, whether pre-IPO or listed entities, is strongly preferred.
- Arabic language proficiency is favored; Saudi nationals or Arabic-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Educational background from top-tier institutions such as Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford, or a similar elite university.
- Possession of professional finance certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
- Willingness to be based in or relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
