  • Maintain thorough and auditable financial records, including adjusted EBITDA and normalized earnings analyses.
  • Evaluate financial impacts of new clinics and expansions, incorporating site-level P&Ls and capital planning to guide decision-making.

  • Implement and uphold internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness; ensure integrity of general ledger and monthly close.
  • Work closely with revenue cycle and billing teams to reconcile financial reporting with Electronic Health Records, improving revenue predictability and cash collections.
  • Oversee cash flow, treasury forecasting, working capital, and liquidity management.
  • Administer risk management and finance-related legal matters, including insurance, contracts, leases, and regulatory compliance, especially relating to Illinois data security and privacy laws.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, setting standards and coaching staff to build a scalable function.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines required; advanced degree (MBA or MSF) preferred.
  • CPA certification strongly preferred.
  • At least 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls within fast-growing organizations.
  • Experience in healthcare finance, ideally within multi-site service settings.
  • Proven ability to build institutional-grade financial reporting and controls able to withstand audits and lender scrutiny.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise; proficiency with modern reporting/BI tools and integration of clinical/billing data.
  • Experience managing finance in a high-growth, multi-site healthcare environment supported by external financing.
  • Experience with multi-site or multi-entity healthcare finance including site-level P&L consolidation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions and transaction diligence processes is a plus.
  • Experience managing lender relations, covenant compliance, and refinancing preferred.

Competency Standards

The role's performance is measured by technical competencies (financial planning, institutional reporting, controls, capital management, growth modeling, revenue systems) and behavioral competencies (strategic vision, communication, action orientation, leadership, integrity).
