Role overview
The Vice President of Creative will guide the company’s overall creative direction, brand look and feel, and creative operations. This executive role is centered on jewelry design leadership, brand identity, creative planning, product innovation, visual storytelling, and team management, with the goal of preserving a distinctive market presence in the global jewelry and luxury space.
Strategic creative leadership
- Create and execute a long-range creative roadmap for the business.
- Set the tone for the company’s creative vision and brand identity, and ensure it stays consistent.
- Champion fresh ideas in jewelry collections, product concepts, and broader creative initiatives.
- Keep creative direction aligned with overall global business goals.
Design and product innovation
- Lead the development of fine jewelry collections and seasonal product launches.
- Oversee jewelry design, product styling, packaging, and the presentation of creative assets.
- Make sure all creative output meets premium quality expectations and supports luxury positioning.
- Encourage ongoing innovation in design concepts, materials, and craftsmanship.
Brand and visual communication
- Steer the company’s visual identity across all marketing and communication touchpoints.
- Manage creative assets used for advertising, digital platforms, retail displays, and events.
- Maintain a consistent brand image across international markets.
- Build stronger brand awareness through inventive creative campaigns.
Creative team leadership
- Guide and develop designers, creative directors, visual merchandisers, and other creative specialists.
- Build and sustain a high-performing creative function.
- Promote close collaboration between creative, marketing, product development, and sales teams.
- Support a culture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
Business collaboration and creative management
- Work with executive leadership on product and brand strategy.
- Support merchandising, marketing, and sales goals with creative solutions.

- Track global design trends, luxury consumer preferences, and market shifts.

Experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate should bring 20 to 25 years of experience in creative design, jewelry design, luxury branding, or a closely related field. At least 8 years should be at a senior management level, such as Director or higher. Deep experience in the jewelry or luxury goods sector is strongly preferred. A strong portfolio demonstrating leadership in creative direction, product innovation, and brand development is expected. Experience leading international creative teams and global branding projects is also preferred. The role calls for excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and project management capabilities.
