Position Overview
As the Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Shivanshi Energy, you will serve as the strategic architect for enterprise-wide growth, working in close partnership with the CEO and executive team to translate vision into actionable, measurable plans. You will be charged with assessing internal and external factors, identifying avenues for sustainable value creation, and ensuring the organization optimally positions itself for future leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer the formation and implementation of high-level corporate strategies, collaborating with senior leadership to establish priorities and operationalize objectives.
- Conduct extensive analyses of market conditions, emerging opportunities, industry trends, and competitive positioning to inform the company’s direction.
- Oversee the corporate strategic planning cycle, including annual and multi-year processes, and set clear milestones and performance indicators aligned with company objectives.
- Align strategic goals with financial planning, resource allocation, and operational priorities across business units.
- Evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities, including new market entry, business model innovation, and strategic investments.
- Function as an executive advisor by preparing analytical materials and offering data-driven recommendations for business reviews and board meetings.
- Lead critical enterprise-wide projects, defining execution frameworks, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional cooperation with finance, operations, product, technology, and other relevant teams to drive organization-wide transformation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Strategy, or a related area; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years' progressively responsible experience in areas such as corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, or business operations.
- Direct experience influencing executive leadership and managing high-impact corporate projects.
- Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Exposure to sectors like private equity, venture capital, institutional investment, fintech, or technology-led financial services is advantageous.
- Supporting organizations with global or multi-regional footprints is preferred.
