Role Overview

The Vice President Finance is a full-time remote position responsible for spearheading the firm's financial strategy and operations. This role ensures that budgeting, financial planning, and cash flow management are harmonized with the company's growth and profit goals. Daily duties include reviewing financial statements, overseeing accurate financial reporting, and offering insightful data to facilitate executive decisions. The role also entails developing strong internal controls, guaranteeing compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with leadership on investments, risk mitigation, and performance enhancements. Leadership and mentorship of the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement, are central to this position.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge in finance, particularly financial planning, long-term budgeting, and capital allocation.
• Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports to ensure timely and accurate disclosures.
• Strong analytical capabilities to convert complex financial data into strategic insights and recommendations.
• Educational background including bachelor's or master's degrees in Finance, Accounting, or Business; professional certifications like CA, CPA, CMA, or CFA are advantageous.
• Proven track record in senior finance leadership roles, especially within retail, luxury, or consumer goods sectors involving multi-location management.
• Exemplary leadership, communication with stakeholders, managing remote teams, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
• High ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with digital finance systems and tools.
