Job description

Position Overview

This Vice President role is based in Grand Prairie, Texas, overseeing nationwide operations with approximately 50% travel expected. The position commands responsibility for sales and installation activities related to Division 10 specialty items including lockers, cubicles, partitioning systems, marker boards, changing rooms, bathroom accessories, hand dryers, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales and installation operations for all Division 10 specialty products.
  • Manage eight branch locations spread across Florida (3), Texas (2), California (2), and Chicago.
  • Oversee a total business turnover of $35 million, with individual branch turnovers ranging between $2 million and $5 million.
  • Create and maintain branch-level booking strategies in partnership with each General Manager while mentoring sales personnel.
  • Hold full accountability for consolidated profit and loss, striving to meet revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and pre-tax income targets.
  • Identify challenges within operations and devise strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Monitor competitor activities and anticipate market shifts.
  • Target projects primarily including educational institutions, office complexes, residential properties, and significant end-users.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum five years of experience in Division 10 sales.
  • Proven ability to manage teams spread over multiple geographic locations.
  • Experience in full profit and loss management of a business unit.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with manufacturing expertise.
  • Demonstrated skills in devising and executing strategic business plans.
  • Preferred background includes related products such as marker boards, visual displays, signage, partitions, washroom fixtures, lockers, benches, door hardware, laminates, and durable decorative surfaces.
  • Strategic mindset capable of engaging at executive board level.
  • Ready to make an immediate impact and committed to a long-term career.
  • Possesses energy, passion, and zeal to succeed in a price-sensitive market.

Compensation & Benefits

The role offers a remuneration package between $180,000 and $200,000 annually, dependent upon experience, accompanied by 8% net profit sharing and a comprehensive benefits package.
