About Headwy IT Solutions
Headwy IT Solutions is a dependable technology collaborator specializing in diverse services including treasury and digital banking solutions (internet and mobile banking), core banking support, treasury systems, reconciliation tools, process automation, enterprise application development, cybersecurity, data solutions, and generative AI.
Job Overview
As the Vice President for Business Development, you will be responsible for driving client acquisition and managing revenue for Headwy's India BFSI staffing division. Your primary focus will be on hunting new clients and securing empanelment, with secondary emphasis on expanding existing accounts. Your role will encompass opening new client accounts, obtaining empanelment status, and converting that into consistent requisition flows with profitable margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage revenue and gross margins for the India BFSI staffing segment.
- Directly acquire clients across banking, NBFCs, MFIs, insurers, fintech companies, and GCC financial institutions.
- Oversee end-to-end vendor empanelment, including RFP and RFI responses, rate card submission and negotiation, execution of MSAs and SOWs, vendor risk assessments, information security reviews, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Increase wallet share on Preferred Supplier Lists, advancing Headwy to a top-three fulfillment partner status in each account.
- Develop parallel channels within Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT services firms serving BFSI sectors through sub-vendor and partner relationships to boost volume.
- Govern rate card strategy and margin policies by deciding which requisitions to pursue or decline.
- Collaborate with recruitment delivery teams to monitor fulfillment SLAs, turnaround times, and improve offer-to-join conversion rates.
- Manage client governance activities such as quarterly business reviews, handling escalations, contract renewals, and rate revisions.
- Lead and build a small business development team starting in the second year.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in IT staffing or workforce solutions sales, with a minimum of 6 years specifically in BFSI or NBFC staffing sales.
- Proven success in empaneling staffing firms with Indian banks, NBFCs, or insurers, including the ability to specify involved institutions and processes.
- A demonstrable portfolio with annual staffing revenues between ₹15-20 crore, or managing 100+ active billable resources under your accounts.
- Established working relationships with Vendor Management Offices, Talent Acquisition heads, HR business partners, procurement, and delivery managers within BFSI institutions or their IT partners.
- Comprehensive commercial understanding of staffing economics, including bill rates versus pay rates, gross margin calculations per resource, markup models, replacement clauses, notice periods, and payment terms.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
