Position Overview
The Vice President of Brand Strategy is responsible for crafting and executing the comprehensive corporate brand strategy aimed at elevating brand equity, expanding market presence, and strengthening customer loyalty. This leadership role oversees brand positioning, communications, marketing, corporate image management, and global brand growth, working closely with top executives to align branding efforts with overall business objectives to drive growth and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term corporate brand strategies aligned with the company's strategic vision.
- Define brand positioning, value propositions, and roadmap for brand development.
- Lead initiatives for brand global expansion and enhancement to increase awareness and market standing.
- Monitor brand performance regularly and refine strategies to maintain effectiveness.
- Establish and supervise a consolidated brand management framework and standards.
- Ensure consistent brand identity and image across international markets.
- Manage corporate brand assets to maximize brand value.
- Develop and implement Integrated Marketing Communications strategies in collaboration with marketing, sales, and product units.
- Oversee digital marketing, content creation, social media, and public relations endeavors to boost brand influence and market share.
- Lead brand communications, media relations, public relations activities, and crisis communication management.
- Create compelling corporate brand stories and communication approaches.
- Foster strong relations with media, industry bodies, and strategic partners.
- Direct brand research, market analysis, and consumer behavior insights application.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and market changes to guide brand decisions.
- Collaborate with product, R&D, and innovation teams to align product strategy with brand goals.
- Support go-to-market strategies and brand promotion for new product launches.
- Optimize customer experience to improve loyalty and satisfaction.
- Set up brand performance evaluation mechanisms and KPIs, assessing marketing ROI.
- Report brand development outcomes to senior leadership and continuously improve brand operations.
- Lead and develop brand, communications, and creative teams, fostering talent and encouraging cross-functional teamwork.
- Promote a brand culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree minimum; majors such as Marketing, Brand Management, Advertising, Communications, Business Management, or similar are preferred.
- MBA or Master's degree specializing in Marketing or related fields is highly desirable.
- At least 10 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or corporate communications.
- A minimum of 5 years in senior leadership positions.
- Proven experience managing well-known brands, multinational corporations, or rapidly growing companies.
- Exposure to global brand development and international market dynamics is preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and brand communication innovations.
