Position Summary
This leadership role oversees Noble’s Army Corps sales effort and is central to defining and delivering the company’s growth plan across U.S. Army markets. The position focuses on increasing revenue through strong leadership, disciplined execution, team development, and operational excellence.
The right candidate will bring extensive defense-sector sales leadership experience, a solid understanding of Army acquisition settings, and a history of creating, developing, and guiding successful sales teams. Success in this role comes from coaching, accountability, and execution that helps teams deliver strong results while supporting warfighter readiness and mission success.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the Army sales organization at an executive level and provide direction that supports durable revenue growth and broader market reach.
- Attract, build, coach, and keep high-performing sales talent while encouraging accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.
- Set sales goals, performance standards, and development plans that help the team consistently achieve or exceed targets.
- Work with the executive team to define and execute growth strategies, account priorities, and revenue goals across Army customers.
- Guide sales teams on opportunity qualification, account planning, capture strategy, and proposal pursuit work.
- Create customer profiles, market insight, and strategic account plans that surface new requirements, modernization efforts, and future opportunities.
- Direct competitive analysis and market review efforts to strengthen Noble’s position and improve win rates.
- Contribute strategic ideas to increase share within Army-related communities.
- Maintain a strong operating rhythm across teams centered on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, deal reviews, execution, and revenue delivery.
- Partner with marketing, vendor relations, operations, contracts, and supply chain functions to keep growth initiatives aligned and moving effectively.
- Strengthen forecasting discipline and keep executive leadership informed on pipeline status, revenue performance, and key business indicators.
- Deliver or exceed revenue goals and organizational KPIs through strong leadership and team performance.
- Act as an executive sponsor for major customer relationships and strategic industry partnerships.
- Represent Noble at conferences, trade shows, association meetings, and other defense-industry events.
- Review win/loss outcomes, market patterns, and performance metrics to identify improvements and increase sales effectiveness.
- Promote a culture built around customer success, operational excellence, professional growth, and mission achievement.

Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university is required, along with 8 to 10 years of progressive business-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and relevant business experience.
Technology Skills
Working knowledge of CRM and ERP platforms is important, especially Salesforce and Netsuite.
