About Southview Veterinary Hospital
Established in 2003, Southview Veterinary Hospital in Tipperary specializes in treating small and large animals using advanced veterinary technology. Our skilled team includes six veterinary surgeons, four veterinary nurses, and six support staff. We offer specialty care areas such as ultrasonography, canine physiotherapy, orthopaedics, and operate a hydrotherapy suite led by our veterinary physiotherapist. We collaborate regularly with local charities like Paws and TNR groups.
Role Overview
This full-time, permanent position involves working 39 hours per week over five days, with a rotating schedule including one weekend shift every three weeks. Working hours are between 8 am and 7 pm. The role offers diverse hands-on experience including surgical and theatre nursing, medical care, inpatient monitoring, dentistry, radiography, laboratory diagnostics, infection control, dispensary management, and client education.
