Role Overview

We seek a dedicated full-time Associate / Investment Manager to join our investment team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of impact-driven enterprises by identifying, evaluating, and nurturing promising startups. The role is central to expanding Ananda’s footprint within the impact investing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and assessment of new investments in pioneering deep-tech impact sectors.
• Manage the full investment process from initial sourcing to deal closure, including due diligence, deal structuring, and investment committee approvals.
• Support portfolio companies post-investment, potentially serving as board member or observer.
• Build and maintain a strong network of stakeholders through active participation at industry events across Europe to enhance Ananda’s visibility and influence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 3 to 6 years of experience in investment-related roles such as angel investing or venture capital.
• Educational credentials preferably in Engineering, Technology, or Science disciplines.
• Proven expertise in early-stage deal execution with sharp financial and strategic evaluation skills.
• Established connections within the European startup and investment ecosystems.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities and willingness to travel extensively within Europe.
