About the Role

You will play a vital role in maintaining vehicle safety standards by performing high-quality vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with AA and NZTA regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and compliant Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections aligned with AA and NZTA protocols and quality benchmarks.
- Deliver clear, comprehensive written and verbal feedback to customers, making technical information accessible and easy to understand.
- Promote and recommend relevant AA products and services to customers based on their genuine needs.
- Support managers or team leaders in resolving customer service issues professionally when requested.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and various stakeholders.
- Stay informed on technological advances, system updates, and procedural changes, contributing suggestions for ongoing improvement.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment for yourself, team members, and the public.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid Warrant of Fitness authority; Holding a Certificate of Fitness (COF) is advantageous.
- Have a minimum of three years recent experience in the automotive industry and maintain a clean, full New Zealand driver licence.
- Comfortable with hands-on, safety-sensitive work environments.
- Demonstrate a passion for automotive work with meticulous attention to inspection quality.
- Communicate effectively, transforming technical language into clear terms easily understood by customers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, building trust and easing customers through the inspection process.
- Adaptable and open to learning new technologies, systems, and processes as they develop.
- Exhibit professionalism, teamwork, and a dedication to continuous growth and improvement.
