- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to clarify requirements, create prototypes, and refine designs based on feedback and technical constraints.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate and improve design effectiveness.
- Adapt quickly in fast-paced settings, adjusting designs whether in software tools like Figma or in real-world environments.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of five years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably working on complex digital products that integrate software and hardware across mobile, web, or embedded systems.
- Demonstrated skills as a product designer with a strong understanding of business logic and engineering considerations.
- Proven ability to set product design vision by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research data into actionable design solutions.
- Proficiency in current design tools, including Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with AI tools as a creative enhancer is valued.
- Capability to thrive in dynamic environments where priorities evolve rapidly.
- Excellent communication skills and openness to constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leadership, mentorship, or growing design teams and organizations.
- Background working with premium consumer brands, technology companies, or in the automotive sector.
- Basic knowledge of front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate stronger collaboration with engineering.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary of $160,000.
- Attractive equity awards and semi-annual performance-based bonuses.
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage with 99% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision plans.
- Generous 14 weeks fully paid parental leave for all parents.
- Competitive paid time off with potential for additional days based on tenure.
- Life and disability insurance coverage.
- Access to traditional and Roth 401(k) retirement plans.
