Job Role
This position is for a full-time Underwriter based in Gurugram, responsible for the critical evaluation of insurance applications. The role includes risk assessment, deciding policy terms, scrutinizing insurance contracts, and collaborating with agents and brokers to provide expert underwriting advice.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess strong analytical capabilities and adept problem-solving skills.
- Capable of thorough risk evaluation and informed decision-making.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring precision.
- Effective communication and negotiation proficiency.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related discipline.
- Require 1 to 2 years of insurance underwriting experience, emphasizing KYC and AML compliance; fresh graduates are not eligible.
