Position Overview

Menzies Facility Services is actively seeking dedicated and dependable Cleaners to join our workforce across a variety of inner Melbourne metropolitan locations including Melbourne CBD, Carlton, Southbank, Docklands, Fitzroy, Richmond, and Port Melbourne. Our company proudly partners with Victoria Police, providing cleaning solutions at numerous metropolitan and regional police stations. Job Role and Duties

Cleaners at Menzies play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and hygiene of facilities used by Victoria Police staff and visitors. Primary responsibilities include:

• Performing routine commercial cleaning tasks
• Vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining floors
• Cleaning office spaces, bathrooms, and common areas
• Disposing of waste and managing recycling efforts
• Executing sanitisation and infection control procedures
• Maintaining site presentation and cleanliness standards

Work Schedule and Availability

We are looking for team members who can work:

• Weekday shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Weekend shifts
• Public holiday shifts
• Flexible part-time hours
• Additional hours across different nearby locations

Most roles are permanent part-time positions with scheduled hours at one or more sites within your local area. Full-time positions are also available for staff willing to work at multiple Victoria Police facilities within their region. Applicants should apply early to allow for completion of necessary security screening ahead of the contract start date on October 1, 2026.

Preferred Experience and Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred but not mandatory
• Holding a current driver's license and having reliable transportation is advantageous, especially for roles requiring travel between multiple sites
• Capability to obtain required security clearance specific to the contract
