Menzies Facility Services is actively seeking dependable, motivated, and diligent cleaners for various locations throughout Ballarat and the Central Highlands in Victoria, including Ararat, Horsham, Stawell, and Hamilton. We proudly provide cleaning services at Victoria Police stations across metropolitan and regional Victoria, maintaining hundreds of sites with a commitment to community and employee value.

Role Overview

As a Cleaner at Menzies, you will play a vital role in ensuring Victoria Police facilities remain clean, safe, and hygienic for both personnel and visitors.

Key Duties

• Perform general commercial cleaning tasks including offices and amenities.
• Vacuuming, mopping, and taking care of floor maintenance.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
• Conduct sanitisation and infection control cleaning.
• Uphold standards of site presentation and cleanliness.

Shift Availability

• Weekday day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Weekend and public holiday shifts.
• Flexible part-time schedules with opportunities to work additional hours across nearby locations.

Positions are mainly permanent part-time with scheduled hours spanning one or more local sites. For those interested in full-time roles, there are openings covering multiple Victoria Police stations in a given region.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transport is advantageous, especially when covering multiple sites.
• Proven reliability and punctuality.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to operate independently and cooperatively within a team.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
• Willingness and ability to complete required security clearance for contracts.
