Truck Vehicle Service Attendant - Timmins

Position Overview

The Truck Rental Division at Enterprise in Timmins is seeking a dedicated full-time Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA). This role involves ensuring a high standard of upkeep and cleanliness across a range of medium-duty trucks within the rental fleet, supporting our commitment to industry-leading service and safety protocols.

Work Schedule and Location

This role is based at 470 Algonquin Blvd E, Timmins, ON P4N 1B7, offering a consistent 40-hour weekly schedule with detailed shifts:

• Monday to Wednesday and Friday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Drive various vehicles safely for lot movement and local deliveries
• Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks such as monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, replacing marker lights, and servicing lift gates
• Identify and report any unsafe equipment, mechanical issues, or hazardous conditions to management
• Ensure work area, equipment, and tools are maintained clean, organized, and in proper working order
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Continually seek personal development, including training and skill enhancement
• Carry out additional job-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years)
• No drug or alcohol-related driving convictions in the past 5 years
• Authorization to work in Canada without need for sponsorship
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when assisting customers
• Availability to work the scheduled hours stated above, except for religious accommodations
