Automotive Detailer - Car Washer at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport

About the Role

Join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer responsible for maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards across our rental vehicles. This position is based at 3905 Newton Road Ste 109, Albany, GA 31701 and offers $15 per hour for a 40-hour workweek. Work Schedule

• Monday to Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Thursday and Friday: Off
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and vacuum vehicle interiors according to established protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry exteriors of various vehicle types including cars, vans, and trucks
• Inspect vehicles for fuel levels, warning indicators, windshield damage, and ensure prior customer data is cleared
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage; refuel and stage vehicles appropriately
• Report any safety concerns or vehicle damages and remove unsafe vehicles from preparation process
• Maintain clean and organized workspace and report hazards
• Use specialized equipment such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains and odors
• Assist customers as needed, including transporting them to and from branch locations
• Contribute to overall site cleanliness including cleaning of interiors and exteriors, managing trash, vacuuming, sweeping lot, and other daily maintenance tasks
• Engage in continuous improvement through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years
• No more than one excessive speeding violation (26+ mph over limit) in the past three years
• No drug or alcohol convictions related to driving in the last five years
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without needing current or future work sponsorship
• Reside within a 30-minute commute of the Albany, GA location
• Have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience
