Role overview
Reporting to the Treasury Lead, the Treasury Accountant supports the treasury team in handling cash flow, liquidity, banking tasks, and financial risk. This position is centered on day-to-day treasury operations, reporting, and cash management support.
Key responsibilities
- Keep a close watch on daily cash balances across all bank accounts.
- Prepare daily reports showing the company’s cash position.
- Support short-term cash flow forecasting.
- Monitor money coming in and going out to help maintain adequate liquidity.
- Process payment requests, including both local and international transfers.
- Coordinate routine banking activities and maintain working relationships with banks.
- Assist with bank account administration, including opening and closing accounts and handling required documentation.
- Match bank statements against internal accounting records.
- Carry out bank transfers and support payment scheduling and approval workflows.
- Make sure transactions are completed accurately and on time.
- Collect information from different departments to help build short-term cash flow forecasts.
- Compare forecasted cash flow with actual figures and report any differences.
- Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on any mismatches.
- Assist in preparing treasury-related reports.
- Maintain clear records of transactions and supporting audit documentation.
- Apply treasury policies and internal control procedures in daily work.
- Help ensure all financial transactions are accurate and compliant.
- Support both internal and external audit activities.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting is expected.
- Basic knowledge of financial principles and cash management is necessary.
- Strong analytical ability and excellent attention to detail are required.
- Willingness to learn and build treasury expertise is important.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are needed.
- A high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly are essential.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, are required.
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems, especially SAP, is required.
- A solid understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow and reconciliation is expected.
