Role Overview
The Treasury Accountant will report to the Treasury Lead and help manage day-to-day treasury operations. This position supports cash flow control, liquidity monitoring, banking activity, payment processing, reporting, and treasury-related risk and compliance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Track daily bank balances and prepare routine cash position updates.
- Assist with short-term cash flow projections and liquidity tracking.
- Monitor money coming in and going out to help maintain adequate funds.
- Handle payment requests, including domestic and international transfers.
- Coordinate with banks for regular operational matters and account maintenance.
- Support bank account administration, including opening, closing, and document management.
- Reconcile bank statements against internal accounting records.
- Process bank transfer payments and help manage approval and scheduling steps.
- Ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.
- Collect information from relevant departments to support forecasting.
- Compare forecasted cash flow with actual results and explain variances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any differences identified.
- Prepare treasury-related reports and maintain complete transaction records and audit trails.
- Follow treasury policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Support both internal and external audit activities.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting.
- Basic knowledge of financial principles and cash management practices.
- Strong analytical ability and careful attention to detail.
- Willingness to build treasury expertise and continue learning.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a team-oriented approach.
- High standards of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Experience using accounting or ERP platforms, preferably SAP.
- Good understanding of core financial concepts such as cash flow and reconciliation.
