This opportunity is for a Travel Operations Specialist in Ireland, with applications and next steps handled by a partner employer. You will take ownership of travel coordination, supplier relationships, policy improvement, and day-to-day operational support. The role combines hands-on travel logistics with process optimization, cost awareness, and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities
- Organize and oversee travel bookings and logistics for employees and guests travelling to company meetings, conferences, and industry events across different countries.
- Answer travel queries quickly, troubleshoot issues, and explain travel rules and procedures clearly.
- Work closely with internal business services teams to plan and run corporate events and the related travel arrangements.
- Develop productive relationships with travel suppliers and help ensure strong service quality and reliable performance.
- Check travel invoices for correctness and support the handling of payments, refunds, credits, and tracking of unused tickets.
- Track travel spend, policy adherence, sustainability indicators, and market trends to spot ways to improve the operation.
- Keep accurate records of travel credits, airline loyalty points, and reporting data to support efficient travel management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, a technical subject, or a closely related discipline.
- Excellent organizing ability, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle several priorities at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well across teams in different countries.
- A strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and follow-through when handling operational work and projects.
- Good analytical thinking and the ability to quickly pick up new systems, tools, and software.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to perform effectively without close supervision in a fully remote setup.
- Experience in travel operations or the travel sector is helpful but not mandatory.
- Availability and willingness to travel internationally up to four times per year for company events, with trips lasting up to two weeks each.
