About the Role
Travel Associates is seeking an experienced luxury travel consultant to join its Burnside team in South Australia. This role is focused on designing high-end, tailor-made holidays and memorable travel experiences for a discerning client base. Each day will bring different client needs, and you will be responsible for crafting every itinerary from the first idea through to the final detail, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience.
In addition to creating travel plans, you will grow your profile within the local community by developing relationships, building your personal brand, and connecting with community groups and networks to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, plan, book, and manage luxury travel itineraries end to end.
- Create highly personalised recommendations and travel experiences for clients.
- Work with premium suppliers, destinations, and industry partners to deliver exceptional journeys.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships that lead to repeat and referral business.
- Build your presence in the local community through genuine engagement and networking.
- Run client interactions with a high level of autonomy and professional judgement.
Experience and Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in the travel industry, particularly leisure travel, along with solid knowledge of airfare construction and GDS systems. You should be confident operating in a business-within-a-business environment and motivated to grow your own portfolio through excellent service and exclusive client benefits.
- Previous work as a travel consultant, including leisure travel experience.
- Hands-on experience using GDS and a strong understanding of airfare building.
- Confidence, initiative, and ambition to manage your own client business.
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to creating unforgettable trips.
