About the Company and Team
Netflix is a global entertainment platform serving more than 300 million paid memberships across over 190 countries, offering TV shows, movies, and games in many genres and languages. The Ads organization is building a premium advertising solution that helps brands reach highly engaged audiences while giving members a high-quality ad experience. In New Zealand, the ads team is still in an early-growth phase and is now scaling quickly, making this a key moment to join and help shape the business.
Role Overview
Netflix is hiring an Account Manager to support the growing Netflix Ads team. This person will own the pre-sales and post-sales campaign workflow in close partnership with Netflix Sales Partner(s), helping with RFP responses, media plan creation, campaign setup, performance tracking, and client service.
What You Will Do
- Work alongside Sales Partners to understand client objectives and deliver strong service.
- Run weekly pipeline and pacing discussions to review upcoming launches and live campaign performance.
- Create media plans and help prepare RFP responses covering packaging, pricing, targeting, and related details.
- Lead campaign kickoff conversations and coordinate collection of launch materials from clients.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to produce custom creative assets.
- Collaborate with Ad Operations to ensure accurate order implementation and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor campaign delivery and work with clients on optimization actions when needed.
- Share campaign performance updates, including final wrap reports after campaigns close.
- Handle campaign escalations and help develop longer-term fixes to avoid repeat issues.
- Build a strong working knowledge of ad products, sponsorship options, targeting capabilities, and ad policies.
- Support monthly billing and invoicing activities with clients and finance.
- Develop productive relationships with clients and agency partners.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in account management and/or sales planning within digital media, preferably focused on video advertising.
- Hands-on experience with sales operations tools such as CRM, OMS, and ad servers.
- Good understanding of digital media sales models and marketplaces, including Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed, and PMP.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn data into clear takeaways for different stakeholders.
- Solid project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple requests at once.
- Exposure to advertising research and verification tools such as Nielsen, ComScore, Moat, Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, and Kantar.
