Job description
Role overview
The Network Operations Center (NOC) serves as the command hub for transportation execution across a large supply chain network spanning regions such as North America, India, and Europe. It helps ensure freight moves on time between vendors, fulfillment centers, and carrier hubs, and it steps in to resolve exceptions while keeping all relevant stakeholders updated. Beyond day-to-day issue handling, the team studies recurring network problems, identifies trends, and uses data analysis to suggest process changes and automation that improve operational efficiency. This work has a direct impact on transportation reliability and the company’s ability to serve customers on schedule.
This position sits within Central Operations, a part of NOC. The team acts as a single point of contact for route planning, scheduling, and payment coordination for last-mile stations across the LATAM and AMET regions.
What you will do
- Partner with business and operations teams to resolve customer escalations, review historical outcomes, and launch improvement initiatives in a fast-changing environment.
- Strengthen the team’s visibility tools, methods, and workflows so internal and external partners have better access to useful data.
- Take full ownership of customer issues and proactively introduce SOPs and process updates when needed.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and present complex information in a concise, persuasive way.
- Manage several priorities at once while maintaining strong attention to detail and minimal supervision.
- Use analytical thinking, mediation, and problem-solving to resolve operational challenges.
- Support a culture of ownership, learning, and action-oriented leadership.
- Work closely with both remote and local management teams in a collaborative environment.
- Understand execution targets and daily production goals.
- Review and revise SOPs, help with execution tasks when needed, train associates, and check adherence to standard work.
- Handle incoming requests within agreed service-level timelines.
- Use sound independent judgment to provide direction.
- Conduct periodic audits with associates to ensure engagement and compliance with standard processes.
- Support shift execution alongside shift managers.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
