Role overview
This position sits within Amazon University Talent Acquisition and focuses on end-to-end hiring for MBA students and early-career candidates. The role centers on campus recruiting, relationship management, hiring strategy, and supporting onboarding so that Amazon can continue to build strong teams in India.
Core responsibilities
- Own the complete recruitment cycle for MBA and early career hiring, from attraction through onboarding.
- Build and execute university relationship plans and campus-focused hiring solutions across India.
- Plan and deliver large-scale initiatives that support hiring targets and employer branding goals.
- Serve as the primary owner for assigned campuses and strengthen Amazon’s presence with placement cells, coordinators, and students to improve both hiring quality and volume.
- Support internal campus-recruitment activities such as intern conversion and onboarding.
- Develop and run projects that enhance the candidate experience both on campus and off campus.
- Act as the main contact for selected businesses and senior stakeholders for all campus-related efforts.
Day-to-day work
The role involves a mix of candidate sourcing, assessment, offer closure, stakeholder collaboration, and campus relationship building. The recruiter will also use market insight and data to refine recruitment approaches, troubleshoot challenges, and keep improving the hiring process.
Required qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in MBA campus recruitment.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal ability and a track record of building effective campus relationships.
Preferred qualifications
- Interest in process management and creating new process improvements.
- Capability to lead branding and engagement activities across Indian campuses.
- Strong HR judgment, problem-solving ability, critical thinking, and self-drive.
- Demonstrated use of data to shape decisions and influence outcomes.
