The role is a four-month contract inside IR35, centered on operationalizing Primark's strategic priorities across 15 to 16 European markets by developing and implementing country-specific action plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert central strategic objectives into actionable plans customized for each local market.
  • Deliver the initial set of Country Plans for assigned regions, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops and planning meetings with Country Leads and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the Group Strategy team and country leadership, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Integrate current strategic initiatives, market data, and country priorities into a coherent planning framework.
  • Create standardized templates, governance structures, playbooks, and guidance to empower Country Leads to independently manage the planning process.
  • Support knowledge transfer and ensure the planning methodology is embedded as an internal capability within the business.
  • Manage several country-focused workstreams concurrently, effectively balancing competing demands while sustaining progress.

Candidate Profile

  • 5 to 8 or more years of experience in Programme Delivery, Business Transformation, Strategy Execution, Project Management, or Management Consulting.

  • A strong focus on delivering results by translating strategic guidance into executable plans.
  • Excellent skills in stakeholder management, with experience engaging senior executives and influencing across matrixed organizations.
  • Proficient in facilitating workshops and aligning cross-functional and cross-country teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous workstreams effectively in a high-pressure setting.
  • Experience working within European or international markets is highly desirable.
  • Background in retail, FMCG, or consumer-facing sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Well-organized, commercially savvy, and capable of working autonomously with limited supervision.
