Job description
Overview
As a crucial member of the Learning, Development & Performance team at Tesla, you will drive the growth and capabilities of our workforce, fostering a high-performing environment within the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. Your core responsibility will be to deliver knowledge, conduct workshops and training sessions, and support employees and leaders through their learning journeys and daily performance enhancement.
You will collaborate closely with other trainers and key stakeholders across various departments including Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering, Human Resources, and Environmental Health & Safety to continuously uplift team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and follow up on initiatives aimed at employee and leadership development to enhance skills and competencies.
- Deliver soft-skills trainings to improve communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Lead the New Hire Orientation to ensure seamless onboarding of new employees.
- Support leadership training programs to empower managers and strengthen their leadership skills.
- Assist leaders and HR colleagues in one-on-one meetings to collaboratively identify development opportunities.
- Contribute to evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
- Participate in cross-functional projects alongside stakeholders from various business units to design and implement employee development and leadership strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Successful completion of a degree in business, education, business psychology, engineering, or equivalent practical experience (typically 1–2 years) as a trainer or coach focused on employee development or leadership strategy.
- Basic methodological and didactic skills with experience conducting seminars and workshops.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Capacity to simplify complex topics for clear understanding.
- Passion for working with people and inspiring them through content.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Proficient with common MS Office applications.
- Excellent teamwork skills and adaptability.
- Fluent German (C1 or higher) and good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Training Management Systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with digital training tools and platforms such as e-learning authoring software, virtual learning environments, or artificial intelligence-based training methods.
