Role Overview

This position is an excellent opportunity for Diploma-qualified candidates currently working in paraplanning, client management, or mortgage advisory roles who aspire to progress into a Financial Planner role. The role begins with desk-based advisory support working with an established client base, gaining practical experience in delivering financial advice, nurturing client relationships, and advancing toward full Financial Planner responsibilities.

  • Clear, structured pathway from trainee/advisory support to fully qualified Financial Planner.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide financial planning advice to an existing portfolio of clients, typically managing investable assets up to A3250,000.
  • Conduct regular client reviews and ongoing service consultations.
  • Assist in transitioning clients onto ongoing service models.
  • Develop client relationships and identify additional needs in wealth planning.
  • Contribute to revenue growth through generating advice fees.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the Titan group to uncover new opportunities.
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with FCA regulations and internal requirements.
  • Maintain precise and high-quality client records and reports.
  • Continue developing personal technical knowledge and industry expertise.

Candidate Profile

  • Essential: Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4 or equivalent).
  • Experience in financial services, such as paraplanning, client support, account management, or mortgage advice.
  • Aspiration to transition into a client-facing financial planning position.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Motivated by long-term career development within financial planning.
  • Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to thrive in a target-oriented, client-centric environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience with cashflow modelling.
  • Ambition to achieve Chartered status.
