Job description

Role overview

Titan Wealth is a rapidly expanding wealth management firm with operations in the UK and overseas. The business has developed a more equitable, efficient and effective operating model designed to deliver advice-led wealth management services that give financial advisers and their clients the strongest possible chance to achieve their goals.

This opportunity sits within the Research & Consulting team and focuses on fund analysis, ongoing research coverage, and helping deliver the team’s output to internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves contributing to and sometimes leading fund review discussions, along with taking ownership of sector coverage where needed.

What you will do

  • Keep the rated fund universe up to date and carry out recurring reviews of rated funds, including meeting with the relevant fund managers.
  • Investigate and evaluate new investment ideas for possible inclusion, then present suitable recommendations to the team.
  • Contribute to the rating framework by reviewing and commenting on ideas brought forward by colleagues.
  • Create clear, high-quality reports and, when required, present them to both internal and external clients.
  • Support the CIP by making fund recommendations to the wider investment team.
  • Adopt new technology with enthusiasm and help shape improvements, including suggestions to refine existing processes.
  • Assist investment, sales and marketing colleagues by providing relevant information and supporting documentation.
  • Represent the company at industry events in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Carry out additional duties that are reasonably related to the role.

Experience and skills

The ideal candidate will bring around 3 to 5 years of fund analysis experience, along with strong analytical ability and confident use of Excel, LIM, Morningstar and FE Analytics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is experience working with asset management firms. Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot and Claude would be beneficial.

Qualifications

A degree-level qualification is required. A background in finance or economics, or a degree involving substantial research work, would be an advantage. Completion of the Investment Management Certificate is required, and there should be a willingness to pursue further relevant professional qualifications.

Working relationships

This role works closely with investment teams, as well as marketing and sales teams, while also engaging with both internal and external clients.

Regulatory responsibilities

  • Follow all FCA rules and standards, including consumer duty.
  • Escalate any procedures or processes that appear inconsistent with TCF/RCR principles, and suggest improvements that strengthen those practices within the department.

Additional information

This is a hybrid position, with office attendance required three days each week.

Values

Successful candidates should show alignment with the company’s core values of creativity, commitment and collaboration. Creativity means bringing fresh ideas and finding better ways of thinking and working. Commitment means being prepared to invest time and energy, and to go the extra mile to support change. Collaboration means working well with colleagues and partners to produce more effective solutions and a stronger sense of achievement.

Terms and benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Employer pension contribution of 7.5%, with a minimum 3% employee contribution.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
  • Option to buy or sell up to 5 days of holiday.
  • Office closure for 3 days over Christmas.
  • Benefits package including private medical cover, group life insurance and income protection insurance.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Support for further education and training.
  • Discretionary bonus linked to performance.
  • Confidential employee assistance programme.
  • 2 days per year for volunteering.
  • Access to a range of flexible benefits.
