Role Overview

Primary Duties

  • Learn to conduct a variety of respiratory and sleep-related diagnostic tests under supervision.
  • Develop proficiency in interpreting and generating detailed reports on respiratory and sleep studies.
  • Progress towards achieving the ARTP Practitioner Certificate and other key professional credentials.
  • Assist in delivering sleep therapies including CPAP device setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Engage in research endeavors, contribute to service improvements and participate in quality enhancement projects.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance through calibration, safety verifications, and adherence to infection prevention standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-focused high-quality care.

Candidate Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Physiology or relevant biological sciences.
  • A keen enthusiasm for respiratory physiology, sleep medicine, and diagnostic services in healthcare.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of explaining procedures clearly to diverse patient groups.
  • Attention to detail and capacity to maintain focus during clinical investigations.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and skill in managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Previous experience in healthcare settings is advantageous but not mandatory as full training will be given.
